Director of Finance –

Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Director of Finance in hospitality, resorts, hotels, or clubs (minimum 3 years required).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or mathematics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting controls, and financial processes.
- Experience overseeing accounting operations, including GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, tax compliance, and fixed assets.
- Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Audit coordination and regulatory compliance experience.
- Strategic financial planning and analysis capabilities.
Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with executive leadership and external partners.
- Integrity, business acumen, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Director of Finance Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting functions and staff, including A/P, A/R, payroll, tax compliance, and fixed assets.
- Provide financial guidance to executive leadership and ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiencies to maintain financial stability.
- Prepare and analyze timely financial and operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with GAAP, and protection of company assets.
