Director of Surgical Center Operations
Location: Chattanooga, TN

Goodwin Recruiting clients are seeking a dynamic Director of Surgical Center Operations to take the helm of their aesthetic and surgical center network. If you have a proven track record in a fast-paced, multi-site clinical environment—especially in Dental, Cosmetology, or Medical Aesthetics—we want to talk to you!
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operational management of all surgery center locations, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional physician satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in an ambulatory surgical center or hospital operations setting.
• Demonstrated Success: Proven track record managing multi-site or high-volume ASC operations.
• Knowledge (Must Have) : Strong understanding of ASC regulations, accreditation standards (like AAAHC), and healthcare compliance.
• Business Acumen: Experience with budgeting and operational performance management.
What You'll Be Doing
- The ideal candidate thrives on complex, high-impact responsibilities, including:
- Providing leadership and oversight for all aspects of surgical center operations and developing strategic plans to drive growth and service line expansion.
- Leading ASC build outs and accreditation efforts, and assisting with strategic site selection for future centers.
- Ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, licensing) and overseeing credentialing for all providers.
- Leading initiatives to improve patient efficiency and overall surgery center productivity.
- Creating and maintaining an active ASC leadership pipeline for recruitment.
- Working professionally and effectively with all employees, customers, and third parties.
