Director of Finance – Northern Michigan

Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory-level accounting position within a casino.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Great Plains, and General Ledger software or similar systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with guests, team members, and management.
Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in developing and implementing internal controls.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and project deadlines.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data for operational assessments.
- Proven track record of maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
- Innovative mindset for seeking efficiencies in staffing, technology, and processes.
