Position Overview
A premier hotel in San Antonio is seeking a visionary Food and Beverage Director to lead its dynamic F&B program. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who sees food and beverage as the heartbeat of guest experience. The Director will oversee all F&B operations, drive innovation, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, cost control, and menu innovation.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu development and pricing.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing F&B team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Foster a positive work environment with clear goals, coaching, and performance management.
- Coordinate with banquet, catering, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in food and beverage leadership, preferably in upscale hotel environments.
- Strong background in restaurant and banquet operations.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using technology and analytics to drive innovation.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
