About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee and enhance quality across all stages of fiberglass production. From raw material inspection through final packaging and shipment, this role ensures that every product meets rigorous standards for safety, performance, and reliability. You will play a key role in driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify, investigate, and resolve quality concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct tests and measurements to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of fiberglass components.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control activities, audits, and inspections.
- Partner with production teams to implement corrective actions and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee compliance audits and ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
- Develop, implement, and enforce quality control protocols specific to fiberglass components and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree or FRP/Composites certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fiberglass layup techniques, resin systems, and structural design.
- Familiarity with conventional and modern quality systems and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes, and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with industrial/manufacturing environments required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
