We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shade & Blind Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in measuring, assembling, and installing a variety of window treatments, ensuring a perfect fit and a professional finish for every customer.
Responsibilities:
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards on every job site
• Measure windows accurately for custom shades, blinds, and draperies
• Install manual and motorized window treatments, including mounting hardware
• Inspect and test installations to ensure proper function and a clean finish
• Communicate with customers to explain operation and maintenance
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order
Requirements:
• Prior experience in window treatment installation or a related trade (carpentry, handyman services, etc.) is strongly preferred
• Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Skilled in reading and interpreting measurements, diagrams, and installation instructions
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on ladders or scaffolding as needed
