Software Developer – Drug Discovery
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)
Compensation: $250,000–$400,000 base + sign-on bonus, year-end bonus, relocation & immigration assistance, and comprehensive benefits
About the Role
We are seeking motivated early-career Software Developers to join our drug discovery technology team in New York City. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and support of software platforms, infrastructure, and tools that power cutting-edge research in drug discovery and AI. You’ll work in close partnership with chemists, biologists, machine learning experts, and computer scientists to accelerate innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software solutions that support computational drug discovery and AI-driven research.
- Automate workflows and build scientific data pipelines using Python and related tools.
- Troubleshoot, install, and support scientific applications, software services, and integrations.
- Develop and refine cheminformatics and data analysis workflows.
- Maintain clear and well-structured documentation for scientific and technical users.
What We’re Looking For
- Programming experience in Python with a focus on scripting, workflow automation, and scientific applications.
- Exposure to computational drug discovery tools, cheminformatics, or managing chemical data.
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments; experience with C++ is a plus.
- Strong interest in AI technologies, especially generative or agentic AI.
- A track record of curiosity, versatility, and contributions to improving computing environments for end-users.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and innovative team culture.
