Vice President – Special Situations Private Equity
About the Opportunity
Our client is building a new class of public-market investment platform, designed to reallocate capital around one of the most asymmetric assets of our time: Bitcoin. Rooted in special situations investing and built to compound, they are pioneering a model unlike traditional funds.
This is a fast-moving, high-impact environment. It’s not a corporate salary seat or a slow bureaucracy. The team is lean and entrepreneurial, seeking leaders who want to create real value at speed.
The Role
We are seeking a Vice President with at least 5 years of experience to play a central role in sourcing, underwriting, and executing transactions. This is a hands-on operator position—ideal for someone ready to move beyond pure analysis and step into ownership of deals and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and evaluate special situations and transformative transactions
- Lead execution across distressed assets, takeovers, and asset-backed deals
- Drive due diligence, underwriting, and structuring from start to finish
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to move quickly on capital formation
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in investment banking, restructuring, special situations, private equity, or principal investing
- Proven ability to source, analyze, and execute complex deals
- Relentlessly resourceful with strong financial and analytical instincts
- Entrepreneurial and comfortable in an ambiguous, high-velocity environment
Compensation
- Base salary: $175K+ bonus and incentives
