Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Superintendent of Maintenance to take pride in keeping our community running smoothly. This role is key to ensuring that residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment every day. The Superintendent will oversee building systems, common areas, and grounds, while also handling repairs, preventative maintenance, and service requests with professionalism and care. This position offers the unique benefit of onsite housing (preferred) and requires someone who can be available for occasional after-hours emergencies.

Superintendent of Maintenance Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR & AED Certification
- Pool maintenance experience in accordance with Department of Health standards
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems
Superintendent of Maintenance Must Haves
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and staff
- Basic computer skills for work order tracking, reporting, and communication
- Flexibility to handle after-hours emergency calls and weekend responsibilities
Superintendent of Maintenance Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in residential or senior housing property maintenance
- Prior supervisory experience overseeing maintenance or custodial staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience coordinating outside vendors and contractors to ensure quality standards
