General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily restaurant operations, both front-of-house and back-of-house, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food standards.
- Manage and mentor staff, fostering a strong team culture and holding team members accountable.
- Maintain strong P&L oversight and financial performance.
- Serve as the “mayor” of the dining room during shifts, delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Communicate directly with ownership, following company guidelines while driving operational success.
General Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years as a high-performing General Manager or Partner in a restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of longevity; no more than two roles in the past five years.
- Strong hands-on operational background with the ability to lead and execute.
- Confident handling BOH and addressing kitchen or timing issues directly.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extra hours when needed.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Positive, “I got this” attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with ownership.
