Restaurant General Manager Requirements
- 5+ years direct experience and recent work history as a GM in an upscale, polished, or fine dining restaurant.
- Experience with high-volume operations (300+ seats / $ 6M+ revenue)
- Proven hospitality GM leader with a passion for wine and upscale, polished dining service
- Drive seller guest services, guest engagement, and community partnerships
- Lead by example with a guest-first mindset and a composed, professional demeanor.
- Inspire, mentor, and elevate both management and hourly team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
- Guide daily FOH and BOH operations, ensuring exceptional standards of quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service, providing seamless, positive collaboration
- Drive operational efficiency of operational systems, while safeguarding guest service and food quality.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships for smooth, cost-effective operations.
- Full P&L responsibility & financial planning—forecasting, budgeting, operating plans, cost control
- Identify opportunities to boost revenue and profitability without compromising guest experience.
- Model polished and engaging interactions with guests; maintain visibility in the dining room to build rapport and address needs in real-time.
- Proven leadership with team development, service excellence, and guest satisfaction
