Our client, an established and growing wealth management firm based in Buffalo Grove, IL, is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role offering long-term career development, mentorship from senior advisors, and the opportunity to work closely with high-performing financial professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a passion for financial planning, and experience supporting client-facing advisors.
Paraplanner Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 – $110,000 depending on experience

Paraplanner Responsibilities & Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in financial services
- Bachelor's degree required
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with numbers
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills
- CFP required
- CPA, Series 65/66 a plus
- Strong interest in retirement planning and financial advisory support
- Must be comfortable working in an on-site, collaborative office environment
- Assist Lead Advisors in preparing comprehensive financial and retirement income plans
- Input and analyze client data in proprietary planning software and tax tools
- Prepare investment summaries, asset allocations, and client-ready planning documents
- Support onboarding and ongoing service for new and existing clients
- Run illustrations for annuities and insurance products as needed
- Prepare various one-time analysis reports and assist with special projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client case planning
