Catering & Events Service Director – Benefits & Compensation:

Catering & Events Service Director – Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field
- 4–5 years of progressive experience in catering or hospitality
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage FOH service teams
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with TimePro and MailChimp (preferred, not required)
- Experience managing high-profile or large-scale events
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Must Haves:
- Lead event execution from planning through service, ensuring flawless delivery
- Manage and coach the FOH team—including training, seasonal staffing, and performance reviews
- Serve as the main liaison for client communication, ensuring expectations are exceeded
- Maintain service standards and address issues in real-time during events
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure seamless coordination (BOH, Sales, Vendors, etc.)
- Drive continual service improvements based on feedback and performance analysis
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in fast-paced restaurant or catering environments (including QSR)
- A customer-first mindset with a strong sense of urgency and professionalism
- Comfort with overseeing both small intimate gatherings and high-volume banquets
- Experience working within a family-owned or legacy hospitality business is a plus
