Now Hiring: Event & Sales Manager

A stylish and hospitality-driven restaurant located inside a boutique hotel in Harlem is seeking an Event & Sales Manager to lead all event-related sales and coordination. This position is ideal for either a junior-level hospitality professional eager to grow into a sales-driven role, or a seasoned sales and events manager ready to lead both client outreach and event execution.
Position Overview:
The Event & Sales Manager will be responsible for driving event business within the hotel, coordinating logistics with both the restaurant and hotel teams, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from initial inquiry to execution. This is not a private dining-focused role — experience working within a hotel environment is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate event business by building relationships within the community and responding to inbound event inquiries.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution across multiple hotel outlets (restaurant, lounge, lobby spaces, etc.).
- Conduct site tours, manage event proposals, contracts, and ensure a seamless booking process.
- Work closely with the hotel sales, F&B, and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of services.
- Maintain an accurate events calendar and produce detailed event orders (BEOs).
- Represent the hotel and restaurant brand with professionalism and warmth.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in hotel event coordination, restaurant event sales, or hospitality sales.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
- Confident in handling multiple events simultaneously and navigating last-minute changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
