Restaurant General Manager Requirements:
- Daily Operations for the front of the house with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction
- Take responsibility for all daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, delegating tasks, supervising service, and strong floor presence
- Work closely with the team to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences
- Strong Leader – Needs to be able to uphold standards with the team and implement systems
- Cost control in all areas
- Problem Solver – Effectively leads the team, positively and proactive to handle challenges and solve issues that may arise
Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:
- Strong Sense of Culture – needs to be able to implement systems and create a structure
- Experience – 5 years+ of General Manager experience in an upscale setting
- Have a passion for great food and great service
- Passionate About the Industry with an ownership mentality, managing staff while ensuring guest satisfaction
- At least 3 yrs experience with volume exceeding $5 million in annual sales
- Must bring positive, high energy to the room and bring great ideas
