Plant Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and shipping. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Implement quality assurance processes and address any quality issues as they arise.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in daily operations.
Plant Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- PE desired but not required
- Strong knowledge of steam utility systems, production processes, and plant reliability and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
