Our client is an award-winning and nationally recognized food truck and restaurant group known for their signature lobster rolls, standout hospitality, and playful, Maine-made brand. With multiple restaurants, food trucks, and a growing catering program throughout Greater Portland, they are expanding—and looking for a seasoned Director of Operations to lead the charge.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across all locations—restaurants, food trucks, and off-site services, including catering
- Manage key metrics: labor, food cost, lobster inventory, and operational expenses
- Lead and mentor site leaders and managers to uphold brand standards and team engagement
- Build and optimize systems to support growth: SOPs, training programs, staffing models, and inventory tracking
- Support hiring, scheduling, and seasonal readiness
- Collaborate with ownership on strategy, expansion planning, and long-term goals
- Drive a culture rooted in respect, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in food service (QSR, fast casual, or high-volume preferred)
- Strong financial and operational acumen—bonus points for lobster procurement experience
- Proven track record of team development, process implementation, and successful expansion
- Excellent communicator, problem-solver, and systems thinker
- Tech-savvy with experience in POS/back-office platforms and Google Workspace
- Passion for hospitality and Maine’s culinary scene
Additional Info:
- Full-time, exempt role with flexible scheduling—must be available for weekends and seasonal peaks
- Local travel between units in the Greater Portland area required
