A dynamic, chef-driven café group in Chicago is seeking a professional and innovative Executive Pastry Chef to lead and elevate their pastry operations across multiple locations. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create and execute seasonal pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Lead bi-monthly R&D sessions to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Manage inventory and ordering, ensuring quality and cost efficiency
- Drive production schedules and consistency across all units
- Support catering expansion and custom pastry experiences
- Uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness and kitchen leadership
- Be the steady, creative force that keeps the pastry vision on track
You Might Be the Right Fit If:
- You’ve led pastry programs for at least 5 years, preferably in upscale or chef-driven concepts
- You’ve worked under Michelin-starred chefs or in fine dining environments
- You’re collaborative, feedback-friendly, and calm under pressure

Compensation Package:
- Competitive base salary plus 5% commission on all pastry sales
- Additional commission opportunities tied to catering sales
- Relocation support for exceptional out-of-market candidates
