We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our operational functions across warehouse, purchasing, customer service, installation, inventory, and delivery. This high-impact leadership role will oversee a team of 50+ employees and ensure every touchpoint runs with precision, efficiency, and excellence.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with a proven track record in multi-unit operations, who can follow processes while also thinking critically to make client-centric decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operations department, including warehouse, purchasing, customer service, project management, installation, and inventory management teams and third-party installation and delivery teams
- Supervise and support a team of over 50 employees across multiple functions
- Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency
- Drive purchasing and inventory strategy to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce overhead
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline installation/delivery timelines
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and ERP systems to analyze data and drive informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Develop KPIs and implement process improvements to optimize operational performance
- Act as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, contributing to long-term operational planning
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally in a high-end retail or distribution environment
- Experience managing multi-functional teams
- Proven background in warehouse, purchasing, inventory, customer service, and installation functions
- Strong supervisory and team-building skills with a leadership style rooted in accountability and service
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with complex ERP systems
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication skills and a strong customer-first mindset
