Director of Food and Beverage Requirements & Qualifications:
- Candidate must be open to relocation to Austin, TX
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Director of Food and Beverage at a full-service hotel
- Proven success overseeing multiple F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, café, in-room dining, etc.)
- Hands-on experience managing banquet operations with at least 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and event space
- Strong understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Expertise in budgeting, P&L, labor planning, and cost controls
- Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and develop high-performing hospitality teams
- Excellent communication and guest service skills with a polished, professional presence
Director of Food and Beverage Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience with luxury or high-end hotel brands
- Familiarity with Micros, Delphi, or similar POS/banquet software
- Sommelier certification or strong wine/beverage knowledge
- Involvement in event planning, pre-opening, or renovation projects is a plus
