A Chicago restaurant group is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that will elevate brand awareness, drive revenue, and enhance guest engagement across all touchpoints. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, F&B, events, and digital partners, to ensure consistency and impact in all communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead social media strategy: content planning, copywriting, publishing, boosting posts, community engagement, and performance tracking.
- Manage local digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram), optimizing for reservations, brand awareness, and engagement.
- Manage Google My Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and OpenTable profiles, ensuring accuracy and strong reputation management.
- Manage appearances and agenda of the chef (e.g., collaborations, interviews, and special events)
- Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively across locations and initiatives.
- Serve as day-to-day contact for PR agencies, aligning media opportunities, editorial submissions, and events with brand priorities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, paid media, and email marketing.
- Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp (or similar).
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
