Assistant Manager – Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
- 2–3 years of restaurant management experience with a strong focus on bar operations
- Oversees daily service with an emphasis on bar execution, cleanliness, and guest engagement
- Manages liquor, beer, and wine inventory, ordering, and cost controls
- Leads, trains, and supports bar and FOH staff with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Creates efficient shift schedules and ensures compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintains a visible floor presence and upholds company service expectations
Assistant Manager – Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in a brewpub, taproom, or craft cocktail-driven environment
- Knowledge of product rotation, keg management, and local beer trends
- Skilled in managing service speed, quality, and atmosphere during peak hours
- Ability to coach and build morale among hourly team members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, calm presence in a fast-paced environment
