Training & Development Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in training or operations leadership in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Working with employees, the human resources teams and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives
- Proven ability to develop structured training programs across multiple locations
- Experience building or managing “train the trainer” or in-store trainer certification programs
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and FOH/BOH dynamics
- Ability to create clear, scalable SOPs and onboarding systems
- Hands-on leadership approach and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in both New Braunfels and San Antonio areas
- Writing reports, keeping records and managing training budgets
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments and best practices
- Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programs
Training & Development Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in scratch kitchen or chef-driven restaurant concepts
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with training tech platforms or LMS tools
- Prior experience scaling teams during multi-unit expansion
