Architectural Project Coordinator
Seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Coordinator to support and manage construction project workflows. This role involves direct communication with contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure all projects remain on schedule and in compliance with construction documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and track shop drawings and submittals
- Conduct site inspections and field observations
- Participate in project and coordination meetings
- Evaluate construction documents prior to bidding
- Manage and process construction changes, including ASIs, change order requests, and approved change orders
- Review and process contractor pay applications
- Maintain organized construction administration records (digital and physical)
- Review project closeout documentation, such as O&M manuals and as-built drawings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General understanding of architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrives in high-pressure environments and tight deadlines
- Confident and assertive in ensuring construction aligns with design intent
- Basic proficiency with standard computer programs
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle for regional travel within West Tennessee (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Must provide and use a personal cell phone for work-related communication
