Sales Manager – Luxury Estate Hotel
Charlottesville, VA | Full-Time
Join a premier luxury estate hotel as our Sales Manager, leading high-end sales across weddings, corporate events, and luxury travel. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for personalized service, luxury hospitality, and strategic growth.
Outline:
- Develop and execute annual sales strategies across key segments: weddings, corporate, social events, and leisure travel.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads through outbound efforts, referrals, and industry connections.
- Act as the main point of contact for wedding and event clients, delivering personalized experiences and tailored proposals.
- Grow corporate partnerships for retreats, board meetings, and weekday buyouts.
- Collaborate with travel advisors, luxury consortiums, and partners to increase shoulder-season bookings.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and sales missions.
- Track and report on sales performance, booking pace, and ROI of sales initiatives.
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure consistent, brand-aligned storytelling across all touchpoints.
Ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of sales or event management experience in luxury hospitality.
- Proven success closing high-value weddings and corporate contracts.
- Exceptional communication skills with confidence engaging high-net-worth and executive clients.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards (Forbes, Relais & Châteaux, etc.) is a plus.

- Increased year-over-year event and room revenue.
