Wine Service Lead Responsibilities:
- Oversee and run wine inventory program of a high-volume restaurant
- Organize wholesale vendor trainings for FOH staff members
- Maintain inventory levels on budget
- Lead wine service on the floor
- Leadership mentality during service
Wine Service Lead Requirements:
- 2+ years of wine inventory and product management in a full-service dining environment or winery tasting room. The ideal candidate has experience with a sales volume of 5M or higher
- Understanding of inventory systems, reporting, and reconciliation
- Prior experience placing wholesale orders
- Collaborate with vendors and management to ensure all events are stocked
- Coordinate staff trainings with wholesalers and local wineries
- WSET or Somm Level 1, preferred
- Must have weekend availability
