Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in casino or gaming finance
- Minimum 2 years of finance or accounting team leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Gaming License
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated knowledge of casino revenue operations, cage functions, and drop processes
- CPA preferred, but not required
Must Haves:
- Oversee the financial operations of cage, drop team, revenue audit, and asset accounting functions
- Direct all internal and external audits with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and compliance
- Manage short- and long-term cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Ensure strict adherence to the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal control procedures
- Meet regularly with vendors, consultants, and auditors to support strategic financial operations
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks while supporting business growth
Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills:
- CPA certification
- Experience in hospitality-based or resort-style casino operations
- Working knowledge of casino management systems and financial software platforms
- Strong coaching, leadership, and team development capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
