Director of Sales – Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive sales or marketing experience within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and sales systems/CRMs
- Must hold or be eligible for a Colorado gaming license
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must Haves:
- Source and convert group business through proactive outreach and relationship-building
- Prepare and manage professional proposals, contracts, and post-event follow-up communications
- Lead property-level sales team including hiring, training, goal setting, and performance management
- Collaborate with marketing, revenue, and operations to align strategies and ensure flawless event execution
- Host and participate in site inspections, networking events, and sales promotions
- Represent the brand and property in professional and community engagements
Director of Sales – Preferred Background & Skills:
- Prior experience in a gaming or destination resort environment
- Background in launching or repositioning hotel or hospitality sales programs
- High proficiency in sales reporting, forecasting, and revenue strategy collaboration
- Experience in both transient and group market segments
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch guest service environment
