Associate Trial Attorney – Personal Injury Litigation

Our client is seeking a Litigation Attorney with experience in North Carolina personal injury law who is eager to take ownership of cases and guide them through the litigation process. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who is comfortable managing cases, preparing for trial, and advocating for clients both inside and outside the courtroom. Associate Trial Attorney – Key Responsibilities

·        Represent personal injury clients in District and Superior Court through all phases of litigation

·        Prepare and manage pleadings, discovery, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation

Evaluate case facts to determine liability, damages, and overall litigation strategy

·        Conduct depositions, coordinate with expert witnesses, and oversee discovery management

·        Draft compelling motions, briefs, and other legal filings while presenting persuasive arguments in court

·        Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing clear updates and guidance throughout the case lifecycle

·        Contribute ideas to improve litigation processes and support overall team efficiency

Associate Trial Attorney – Qualifications

·        J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

·        Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar

·        Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience within North Carolina

South Carolina Bar admission is considered a plus

·        Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and move matters through litigation independently

·        Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

·        Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

·        Confident courtroom presence and strong strategic thinking skills
