General Manager – Full-Service Hospitality Concept in Lubbock, TX
A high-volume, guest-focused venue is expanding into Lubbock and seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead operations. The concept is known for dynamic energy, strong leadership structure, and immersive guest experiences—all supported by one of the most robust management teams in the industry.
General Manager Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive base salary: $60K – $65K (negotiable for top performers)
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- Structured day/night rotation (e.g., 2 days / 3 nights weekly)
- Flexibility on holidays and high-traffic weekends
- Opportunity to shape the launch and growth of a new market with solid support
General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in a GM role (more experience strongly preferred)
- Must have full-service restaurant experience with alcohol service
- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong financial oversight and operational management experience
- Familiarity with labor law compliance, scheduling, and cost control
Must Haves
- Ability to manage high-traffic weekend events and late-night service flows
- Precision in managing a kitchen operations
- Leadership during energy-intensive evenings with staggered staffing
- Hands-on experience hitting key cost control targets across food, liquor, and labor
- Skill in maintaining the venue’s atmosphere (lighting, music, guest energy) and ensuring smooth team rotations
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar venues or dual-site operations
- Successful history of building and mentoring large FOH/BOH teams
- Inventory control experience with a focus on minimizing waste and streamlining purchasing
- Proven ability to elevate staff culture and guest engagement in vibrant settings
- Comfortable overseeing maintenance needs and ensuring a safe, functional space
