Are you ready to step into a leadership role where your passion for people, food, and service makes a daily impact? A well-known, multi-unit hospitality group is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join one of its beloved suburban restaurants, known for its welcoming vibe, scratch kitchen, and energetic team culture.
This is a perfect opportunity for a current Floor Manager or AGM who thrives on the floor, has a great handle on labor and basic ordering systems, and is ready to grow—but not rushing into a GM seat just yet.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the General Manager to lead day-to-day operations with a focus on staff morale, service quality, and guest satisfaction
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and labor tracking to support business needs
- Assist with ordering and inventory, including LBW (liquor, beer, wine) management
- Drive energy and presence on the floor—engaging with both staff and guests in real time
- Help onboard, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members
- Be a hands-on leader and go-to problem solver during peak periods
- Support company standards for cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in FOH restaurant management (AGM or Floor Manager level)
- Strong working knowledge of scheduling, labor tools, and floor leadership
- Some background in ordering and LBW inventory preferred
- Clear communicator with a supportive, team-first mentality
- Strong guest interaction skills—calm, approachable, and solutions-oriented
- Eager to grow and take on more, but not aggressively looking to leap into a GM seat just yet
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
