Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or similar, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing the BOH team to ensure smooth operations and consistent, high-quality food execution.
- Proven track record of all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Oversight of inventory management, ordering, and food cost controls to drive profitability and reduce waste.
- Optimize labor efficiency through smart scheduling, staffing oversight, and overtime management.
Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Manage kitchen staff performance, including hiring, training, evaluations, and ongoing development.
- Collaborate closely with FOH leadership to ensure cohesive service, communication, and guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on team development, accountability, and positive kitchen culture.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and manage high-pressure service periods.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary operations, inventory systems, food safety procedures, and local health code compliance.
