Executive Chef Requirements
- Proven success as an Executive Chef in high-volume (over 8 million in sales a year) upscale or fine dining environments for over 5 years
- Strong tenures and progressive kitchen leadership experience
- Mastery of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and current food trends
- Passionate leadership with a commitment to team development and excellence
- Obsession with quality and a deep love of creating memorable guest experiences
- Culinary Degree and ServSafe Certification
Executive Chef Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across all aspects of kitchen operations
- Set and uphold high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Collaborate with the leadership team
- Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of chefs and cooks
- Oversee food and labor cost controls, inventory management, vendor relations, and kitchen efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
