Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and work closely with compost division leadership to align on growth strategies
- Drive new business development while maintaining and expanding relationships with current landscaping and construction clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling quotes, samples, and proposals tailored to client needs
- Utilize CRM systems and digital prospecting tools to build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Stay up to date on SCM’s compost products, services, and market developments to inform customer conversations
- Conduct in-person client meetings, site visits, and product presentations to close deals and strengthen partnerships
- Collaborate with the Finance team to quickly resolve any account, billing, or payment issues
- Represent the SCM brand with professionalism, deep product knowledge, and a customer-first mindset
- Follow all safety guidelines and complete additional tasks or projects as assigned
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (landscaping or construction a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- CRM proficiency (NetSuite preferred)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Clean driver’s license and willingness to travel locally (up to 25%)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Bilingual is a plus
