Our client is a dynamic and well-established manufacturer specializing in custom-built switchboard solutions. With a strong legacy and a clear vision for growth, they are entering a new phase of expansion across multiple markets. They are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who thrives in a hands-on leadership role to guide a team of design engineers through complex projects.
What You’ll Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, ideally in electrical or instrumentation-focused roles
- Background in sheet metal electrical enclosure design and fabrication
- A minimum of 3 years leading engineering teams or managing projects
- Expertise with AutoCAD; knowledge of Inventor or similar software is advantageous
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering documentation
- Deep understanding of industry standards for medium voltage systems, including metal-clad and metal-enclosed switchgear
- Familiarity with control components used in medium voltage applications
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical and electrical designers and CAD specialists
- Set performance goals, monitor quality metrics, and oversee the completion of engineering tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Strategically plan and organize engineering workflows while balancing resource allocation across multiple projects
- Guide continuous improvement efforts, facilitate training, and drive the professional development of your team
- Collaborate on quality assurance processes and final product testing to ensure customer satisfaction
- Help develop standardized systems and procedures for the medium voltage product line
- Support the company’s growth by contributing to the development of new products and market strategies
