We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume dog food manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for owning production performance, overseeing both shifts, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are exceeded.
Production Manager Benefits:

Production Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing
- Experience managing 90+ team members across multiple shifts
- Proven success in driving KPIs: yield, labor efficiency, and waste reduction
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
Production Manager Key Duties:
- Lead and oversee daily production across two shifts, ensuring operational excellence
- Manage and mentor shift leaders, fostering accountability and staff growth
- Monitor and drive KPIs—improving yield, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity
- Lead structured improvement initiatives to streamline production and scale capacity
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
- Serve as the production liaison with customers and the senior leadership team
