Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team, with a focus on family law. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who is passionate about advocating for clients and navigating complex legal matters with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in North Carolina District Court in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and equitable distribution.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and settlement proposals.
- Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and prepare for hearings and trials.
- Provide sound legal advice and develop case strategies in collaboration with the legal team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
- At least one (1) year of experience practicing in North Carolina District Court.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing family law matters from start to finish.
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload and work both independently and as part of a team.
