We’re launching a brand-new restaurant with extraordinary food and creative craft cocktails in Brooklyn, and are searching for a Head Bartender with creativity, leadership, and deep industry expertise to help bring our vision to life. As Head Bartender, you’ll be the driving force behind our bar program—working behind the bar during service, leading recipe development, training the team, and curating a cocktail menu that sets us apart. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with a true passion for the craft of bartending and experience working in some of the city’s top cocktail bars.
Head Bartender Pay + Benefits:
- Generous hourly pay ($30/hr) plus tips

Head Bartender Requirements + Qualifications:
- 3+ years bartending experience in high-caliber NYC cocktail bars, with at least 1 year in a lead or head bartender role
- Proven expertise in cocktail development, batching, and draft cocktail systems
- Deep, working knowledge of spirits, techniques, classic cocktails, and modern trends
- Confident leader who can train and manage a team while staying cool under pressure
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a drive for excellence
Head Bartender Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement innovative and balanced cocktail recipes, including batched and draft cocktails
- Work service shifts behind the bar and lead by example
- Train, mentor, and inspire the bar team to uphold the highest standards
- Manage bar prep systems, batching, and cocktail program consistency
- Curate and regularly update the cocktail and spirits menu
- Collaborate with management on beverage costing, inventory, and vendor relationships
