We’re looking for a bold, visionary Executive Chef to take charge of our kitchen and redefine the guest dining experience. If you thrive on creativity, leadership, and delivering excellence under pressure, this is your stage.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Assist the F&B Director with budgeting, cost control, and menu planning; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee food purchasing, receiving, production, and menu development to ensure quality, consistency, and profitability.
- Ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high service standards, and manage kitchen equipment and maintenance schedules.
- Stay current on market trends, monitor competitors, and support promotions, culinary events, and menu innovation.
- Lead recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management of all kitchen staff in compliance with labor laws.
- Manage kitchen admin processes, participate in departmental planning, and lead team meetings and coaching sessions.
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Executive Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen (preferably hotel); culinary degree and ServSafe certification required.
- Possess expert-level knowledge of all aspects of banquet functions.
- Proven skills in food preparation, wine pairing, trend awareness, and creativity—demonstrated through a cooking test.
- Strong ability to lead, train, and motivate staff; experienced in scheduling, payroll, and team development.
- Proficient in financial reporting, basic math, computer systems (Outlook, Kronos, OnTrack, Synergy), and administrative tasks.
- Lift moderate weight, stand for long periods, and use culinary tools with skill and awareness.
