POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the administration, sales, profitability, safety, staffing and training of the restaurant. Oversee all FOH and BOH functions including guest relations, supervision of all staff and staffing levels, proper restaurant ambience, housekeeping, set-up, food & beverage quality, safety and pace. Coach and develop restaurant managers and kitchen managers for success in their respective departments. Responsible for the tactical implementation of the marketing plan and the management of the event sales program. Actively engaged in local store marketing and is deemed “the face of the brand”.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that the top five critical job responsibilities are identified within the position description and weighted according to importance to equate to 100%
• Oversee the entire operation of the restaurant • Develop and coach a team of managers • Increase sales and profitability through guest satisfaction • Practice prompt problem resolution • Conduct hourly orientations • Maintain accountability for all financial reports for the restaurant • Work closely with the VP of Operations to identify opportunities • Evaluate management’s progress and success • Control all profit & loss areas of the restaurant • Establish relationships within the community • Implement a Local Store Marketing Strategy • Assist management team in any areas of opportunity • Manage the Event Sales plan and personnel • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum two years in a General Manager role in a high volume entertainment concept. Education and/or experience normally associated with a bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, restaurant management or equivalent.
