Our client, a highly respected and established corporation in the industrial wear services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead their U.S. sales operations. This remote role is open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. and will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a team of regional sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales representatives across the U.S.
- Drive new business development while maintaining and expanding key client relationships
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on market penetration and growth
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and customer service) to deliver tailored solutions
- Serve as a consultative partner to customers in industrial sectors, particularly around wear-resistant technologies and maintenance strategies
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Travel nationally up to 60% to support clients, attend industry events, and lead regional teams
National Sales Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in the industrial wear protection, equipment safeguarding, or related field (e.g., welding, mining, concrete, steel, corrosion prevention, or chemical plant services)
- At least 5+ years of experience in sales leadership or sales management
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing national or regional sales teams
- Strong background in consultative sales, maintenance planning/scheduling, and technical coordination
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
