A renowned upscale modern American restaurant in Tampa is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support a high-performing culinary team. Sous Chef – Benefits and Compensation:

Sous Chef – Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or strong Lead Line Cook in an upscale, high-volume ($8M+) scratch kitchen
- Proven ability to lead day-to-day BOH operations and uphold brand culinary standards
- Experience working with live-fire cooking techniques and full-scratch kitchens
- Strong understanding of food cost (COGS) control, inventory management, and ordering
- Working knowledge of Restaurant 365, Toast POS, HotSchedules, and third-party delivery platforms
- Natural use of professional culinary terminology and understanding of modern kitchen operations
- Ability to supervise and mentor large culinary teams with a hands-on leadership style
Sous Chef – Preferred Background & Skills:
- Basic sushi knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Experience in high-end hospitality groups or upscale-caliber environments preferred
- An open-minded approach to coaching and learning at a higher operational level
- Candidates already based in Tampa or Orlando are strongly preferred
