We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive new business in the U.S. market for a global research and analytics firm specializing in the media, entertainment, and advertising sectors. This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the New York City area to align with client proximity and travel requirements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in selling data-driven or subscription-based solutions within media, sports, games, or advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities for syndicated subscription services
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
- Collaborate with internal marketing and analyst teams throughout the sales cycle
- Engage with VP- and C-level stakeholders in strategy, research, content, and finance functions
- Represent the company at industry events and coordinate targeted roadshows to build in-person connections
- Maintain a professional presence on LinkedIn and other platforms by sharing company content and thought leadership
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of new business sales experience, ideally in the business information, SaaS, or subscription data sector
- Proven success selling into one or more of the following: TV & Film, Sports, Gaming, or Advertising
- Strong communication skills and confidence in high-level client-facing presentations
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and excited to grow within a high-performance culture
- Bachelor’s degree required
