We are seeking a SEASONAL Director of Rooms to support our 5-star team on the North-Fork of Long Island. This person will oversee all aspects of the luxury hotel’s rooms operations, including bell, concierge, valet and front desk. This role involves direct supervision, strategic oversight and hands-on involvement.
- This role would run from April until November and be at a 100-110K RATE per week. Housing could be discussed. This could turn into a year-round role.

Director of Rooms Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies to maintain a smooth guest experience and efficient workflows.
- Coordinate with department heads
- Ensure a welcoming and memorable experience for each guest, addressing feedback and managing guest relations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and service across all touchpoints.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts for all departments, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to keep staff informed, motivated, and aligned on hotel goals and standards.
Director of Rooms Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in hotel management, ideally in a luxury, resort setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software, social media platforms, and budgeting/financial analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
