Do you have a passion for crafting beautiful, delicious desserts? We're looking for a Part-Time Evening Pastry Chef to join our growing team and bring creativity, precision, and love for pastry to our kitchen. You’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and plated pastries with consistency and excellence during evening production hours. You’ll work closely with our culinary team to support special events, prep for next-day service, and maintain high standards of presentation and flavor.
Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
- Prepare, bake, and finish pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts
- Follow and refine existing recipes, while also contributing creative ideas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and equipment
- Assist with prep for catering and special events
- Ensure quality control and consistency in all dessert items
Pastry Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of pastry experience in an Upscale or Fine Dining kitchen or bakery
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Familiarity with classic and modern pastry techniques
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A passion for sweets and dedication to craftsmanship
