Network Administrator – Confidential Employer
About the Role
A leading organization in the gaming and hospitality industry is seeking a Network Administrator to design, install, and maintain its IT networks. This role ensures 99.999% network stability for both gaming and non-gaming systems, supporting a continually evolving IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Design and implement copper and fiber optic networks to meet operational demands.
- Monitor network performance, conduct analysis, and optimize system efficiency.
- Establish and maintain network security protocols for data protection and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth communication and system functionality.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong understanding of networking languages and protocols.
- 7+ years of IT experience and 3+ years in network administration within a large-scale environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work with command-line and GUI network applications.
Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Juniper JNCIA.
