We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Area Operations Manager to oversee multiple café-style retail locations within a single region. This person will be accountable for operational consistency, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across 4–5 units. Ideal candidates bring a passion for people, process, and product—and know how to bring them together seamlessly in high-traffic, service-driven environments.
Multi Unit General Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and support location managers to meet operational, financial, and guest experience goals
- Ensure all stores maintain high standards in cleanliness, food safety, and brand presentation
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor high-performing teams; address performance challenges swiftly and effectively
- Manage labor budgets, inventory systems, and vendor relationships across sites
- Act as a cultural ambassador for the brand—building local partnerships and engaging the community
- Monitor KPIs across all locations, responding quickly to performance data
- Drive sales through team coaching, upselling strategies, and operational efficiency
Multi Unit General Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years managing multiple stores, departments, or service areas
- Strength in coaching and scaling diverse teams
- A solutions-first mindset with strong decision-making ability
- Familiarity with scheduling, payroll, and inventory software
- Comfort in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Availability on weekends and during peak hours
