We're seeking a skilled Accounting & Inventory Analyst to provide hands-on financial support to shop leadership while maintaining accuracy across labor, inventory, and production cost tracking. Accounting & Inventory Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or job-costing environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage or similar platforms preferred)
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, including financial modeling and data reconciliation
- Ability to interpret and enforce internal controls and company policies
- Comfortable working in an industrial or shop setting
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Accounting & Inventory Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Partner with shop leadership to deliver financial insights that support operational decisions
- Analyze labor, inventory, and production costs to ensure accurate billing and reporting
- Lead month-end close processes and prepare variance analysis reports
- Maintain and improve systems for inventory control, WIP tracking, and cost monitoring
- Conduct monthly reconciliations and support physical and cycle inventory counts
- Review and validate work orders, freight charges, and material usage for accuracy
- Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving process efficiency and cost reduction
