Opportunity: Senior Financial Accountant

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a forward-thinking, solution-focused, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to contribute high-level financial analysis and help drive continued success. This is a hands-on opportunity, supporting both daily operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Senior Financial Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency with Sage 300 ERP system
- Solid experience and knowledge of Job Costing
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, including v-lookup, pivot tables, SQL, Power Query
- Ability to interpret and enforce internal controls and company policies
- Comfortable working in an industrial or shop setting
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Senior Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly financial close processes across multiple sites, including preparation of financial reports and journal entries.
- Ensure accuracy in financial records through account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
- Deliver clear financial insights and performance updates to operational leaders to support decision-making.
- Oversee and apply cost accounting principles, including job costing, inventory tracking, and work-in-progress assessments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
- Take on additional accounting functions and special projects as needed in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
