We are seeking a talented and motivated Tax Manager to join our dynamic team of seasoned advisors at our Wealth Management Advisory. Our company values community engagement and enjoys staying active through outdoor activities and local volunteer work. As a key member of our group, you’ll oversee the preparation and review of business, fiduciary, and personal income tax returns, collaborate closely with staff and advisors, and engage in proactive tax planning. You’ll work on complex tax issues, manage multiple clients and projects, and build strong partnerships to deliver exceptional client service. Job Responsibilities:
- Review and/or prepare business, fiduciary, and personal income tax returns and training staff in tax matters.
- Engage with clients and other staff to ensure proactive tax planning.
- Prepare tax projections and consulting on tax-related matters, including complex (fun!) tax issues.
- Oversee income tax correspondence, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Building new and existing client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of client business.
- Managing multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
- Interpret the U.S. tax code.
- Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues.
- Collaborate with staff/managers on projects and assess performance through formal periodic reviews and informal feedback.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA Certification.
- 3-6 years prior tax experience in public accounting.
- Experience preparing entities and individual tax returns.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Self-starter and team player with ability to recognize when additional hour commitments are needed and willingness to take on extra work to meet firm wide deadlines.
